Digital Asset Funds Extend Inflow Streak with $882M Weekly Gain
Digital asset investment products notched their fourth consecutive week of inflows, absorbing $882 million last week according to CoinShares data. Year-to-date inflows now stand at $6.7 billion, signaling sustained institutional interest despite market volatility.
BlackRock’s iShares ETF dominated inflows with $1.02 billion, partially offset by $257 million in outflows from Grayscale, Bitwise, and CoinShares XBT products. The divergence highlights shifting preferences among institutional allocators as the ETF landscape matures.
James Butterfill, CoinShares’ Head of Research, linked the capital movements to price momentum without specifying catalysts. The flows suggest growing mainstream acceptance of crypto exposure through regulated vehicles rather than direct asset ownership.
